PT Saranacentral Bajatama Tbk pada tahun 2012 mendatang menargetkan laba bersih senilai Rp78 miliar atau melesat 95% dibanding proyeksi laba bersih hingga akhir 2011 senilai Rp40 miliar. Direvisi menjadi naik 150% menjadi lebih dari Rp100 miliar pada 2012 dibandingkan dengan proyeksi akhir tahun ini Rp40 miliar. Nilai target itu naik 28,21% dari target sebelumnya Rp78 miliar. Permintaan produk baja, khususnya di dalam negeri masih sangat besar seiring dengan pertumbuhan infrastruktur di negeri ini. Adapun pertumbuhan industri baja secara umum pada tahun depan di prediksikan bisa lebih dari 12,5% Ibnu mengatakan saat ini sekitar 95% produk perseroan dipasarkan untuk kebutuhan domestik, sisanya 5% untuk ekspor seperti ke Pakistan.

JAKARTA (IFT) – PT Central Omega Resources (DKFT), emiten perdagangan dan pertambangan, berhasil mencatatkan laba bersih sebesar Rp 185 miliar pada 2011, setelah sebelumnya pada 2010 mengalami rugi bersih Rp 5 miliar. Dalam keterbukaan informasi kepada Bursa Efek Senin (23/1), Central Omega menyatakan pendapatan usaha perseroan pada 2011 mencapai Rp 485 miliar, sedangkan pada periode sebelumnya masih mengalami rugi. Central Omega Resources merupakan perubahan nama dari PT Duta Kirana Finance yang bergerak di bidang pembiayaan, kemudian pada 2008 mengubah kegiatan usaha menjadi perdagangan dan pertambangan. Sebanyak 77% saham perseoran dipegang oleh PT Jinsheng Mining, dan sisanya dimiliki publik.

PT Alam Sutera Realty Tbk (ASRI) rencananya pada semester kedua tahun ini akan mengoperasikan gedung perkantoran yang berada di superblok Alam Sutera, Serpong, Tangerang. Direktur Pemasaran Alam Sutera, Lilia Sukotjo mengatakan, proyek perkantoran yang dibangun diatas lahan seluas satu hektare tersebut pembangunannya sudah hampir selesai dengan akan dilakukannya topping off. Gedung setinggi 20 lantai ini menghabiskan dana investasi sekitar Rp150 miliar, pembangunannya sendiri telah dilakukan sejak Desember 2010 silam dan perseroan menargetkan gedung tersebut dapat beroperasi pada Juli 2012 nanti. "Saat ini pengerjaan sudah memasuki tahap penutupan atap, sehingga pada pertengahan tahun ini diharapkan sudah dapat beroperasi," ujar Lilia, Rabu seperti dilansir IFT. Lilia menambahkan, gedung perkantoran ini nantinya akan dijual putus (strata-title), dan sebagian lagi akan disewakan. Untuk ruang perkantoran dengan status strata-title sudah terserap 60% dengan harga jual Rp12 juta hingga Rp 22 juta per meter persegi. Sementara untuk yang berstatus sewa hingga kini belum ada yang terserap. Adapun harga untuk tarif sewa yang ditawarkan oleh perseroan Rp65 ribu per meter persegi untuk per bulannya. Toyota Motor Corp. mulai menjual mobil hibrida, Toyota Aqua, di pasar domestik kemarin (26/12). Ini untuk menyaingi mobil hibrida buatan Honda Motor Co. yang menyasar kalangan muda. The Aqua compact hybrid ini akan dipasarkan di AS dengan nama Prius C seharga 1,69 juta yen atau sekitar US$ 21.700 per unit. Sementara di dalam negeri, targetnya, Toyota akan menjual sekitar 12.000 unit mobil per bulan. Toyota meluncurkanToyota Aqua untuk memenuhi target penjualan mobil bertenaga listrik di pasar global sebesar 20%. "Toyota akan menaikkan harga jual Prius dan menawarkan harga Toyota Aqua lebih murah agar bisa memenuhi permintaan mobil ramah lingkungan yang lebih murah dan lebih kecil," ujar Mamoru Kato, analis otomotif Tokai Tokyo Research Center di Nagoya. The Federal Reserve on Tuesday made it three years of interest rates at near-zero levels as the central bank refrained from new action with recent signs of improvement in the economy. The decision leaves the Fed’s key interest rate at an historic low range of 0% to 0.25%, and the central bank kept its guidance that it intends to keep rates near zero until mid-2013 given its expectations for the economy. The Fed statement said that the economy “has been expanding moderately,” despite slowing in global growth. The Fed has purchased $2.3 trillion of bonds trying to push down long-term interest rates. In September, the Fed announced an Operation-Twist plan to buy longer-term securities and sell $400 billion of short-term debt to lengthen the average maturity of securities on its balance sheet.

JAKARTA: PT Central Omega Resources Tbk (DKFT) menargetkan pendirian anak usaha baru yang bergerak pada pengolahan dan pemurnian nikel di Morowali, Sulawesi Tengah pada 2012 dengan estimasi nilai investasi US$500 juta. Dalam prospektus tambahan yang dipublikasikan kemarin, manajemen DKFT itu menyatakan perseroan akan menyertakan modal kepada perusahaan baru itu sebesar 50% dari dana hasil penerbitan saham baru dengan hak memesan efek terlebih dahulu (HMETD). Central Omega akan meraih dana dari rights issue ini Rp983,73 miliar dari penerbitan 983,73 juta lembar saham biasa atau 90% dari modal ditempatkan dan disetor penuh dengan nominal Rp500 setiap saham yang ditawarkan dengan harga Rp1.000 per saham. Dana penawaran umum terbatas ini setelah dikurangi biaya emisi akan dialokasikan 50% utnuk penyertaan modal ke perusahaan baru. Nama perusahaan ini belum ditentukan dan ditargetkan berdiri tahun depan di Morowali, wilayah yang memiliki cadangan nikel potensial. Persentase kepemilikan akan disepakati dengan para mitra investasi berkenanaan dengan kebutuhan dan sumber pendanaan investasi. “Mengenai kebutuhan pendanaan diperkirakan meliputi US$500 juta dengan sumber pendanaan investasi dari bank dan setoran modal para pendiri, di mana alokasi kami 50% dari hasil rights issue,” tulis manajemen yang dipimpin oleh Kiki Hamidjaja. (Reuters) - McDonald's Corp (MCD.N) reported a bigger-than-expected rise in November sales at established restaurants across the board, led by big gains in Japan, China and a strong showing in its top revenue market of Europe. The world's biggest hamburger chain said on Thursday that sales at restaurants open at least 13 months rose 7.4 percent globally. Analysts were looking for an increase of 4.6 percent, according to Thomson Reuters data. In Europe, where the chain gets some 40 percent of revenues, same-restaurant sales rose 6.5 percent, while analysts expected a jump of 3.8 percent. U.S. November same-restaurant sales were up 6.5 percent, above analysts' expectations for a rise of 4.2 percent. Sales in its Asia/Pacific, Middle East and Africa unit rose 8.1 percent, beating analysts' call for a 4.9 percent increase. In all regions, same-restaurant sales rose more than they did in November 2010.

Jobless claims at 9-month low last week WASHINGTON (Reuters) - New claims for unemployment benefits dropped to a nine-month low last week, a government report showed on Thursday, suggesting the labor market recovery was gaining momentum. Initial claims for state unemployment benefits fell 23,000 to a seasonally adjusted 381,000, the Labor Department said, the lowest since late February. The prior week's data was revised up to 404,000 from the previously reported 402,000. The report, coming on the heels of data last week showing a rise in hiring and a sharp drop in the unemployment rate to 8.6 percent in November, pointed to some healing in a sector that has been the Achilles heel of the economy's recovery. Brent for January delivery, the most-active contract, traded at $110.95 at 2:19 p.m. in Singapore as the December 2012 contract was at $105.73. Brent peaked this year at $127.02 in April, and hasn’t traded at more than $127.50 since August 2008. Goldman correctly advised investors to sell oil and copper in April and turned more bullish the next month before prices rebounded. The New York-based bank lowered its commodity gain forecast from 20 percent for the S&P GSCI Enhanced Commodity Index earlier this month.

Lewis Kaufman, manager of the Thornburg Developing World Fund, is also optimistic about Indonesia. His fund has 9.7 percent of its assets invested there, a relatively high amount compared with other emerging market funds. Part of the appeal for Kaufman is Indonesia’s strong currency. Indonesia’s central bank has said a stronger currency will reduce inflationary pressure by lowering the costs of imported foodstuffs. Because exports are only about 20 percent of GDP, the bank feels no pressure to keep the rupiah weak to stimulate overseas sales.

Manajemen BBCA dalam keterbukaan informasi Bursa Efek Indonesia, Kamis (17/11), menyebut pembagian dividen interim ini didasarkan pertimbangan kinerja keuangan Perseroan hingga kuartal ketiga tahun ini. Pada akhir September 2011, Perseroan berhasil membukukan laba bersih sejumlah Rp 7,655 triliun. Saldo laba ditahan yang tidak dibatasi penggunaannya mencapai Rp 33,933 triliun. BBCA akan membayarkan dividen interim tersebut pada 23 Desember mendatang. Nov 1 (Reuters) - Barclays Capital is providing $200 million in one-year bridge financing to Jakarta-listed thermal coal exporter PT Bumi Resources , Basis Point reported on Tuesday, citing banking sources. The loan would help the company raise funds to prepay a $600 million tranche of convertible debt issued to sovereign wealth fund China Investment Corp (CIC), it said. The Basis Point report comes as Indonesia's Bakrie Group, which partly owns Bumi Resources, entered a deal to sell about half its stake in London-listed Bumi Plc to coal miner PT Borneo Lumbung Energi in a $1 billion deal to avoid a loan default. The bridge financing goes hand-in-hand with a $200 million one-year bridge loan provided by JPMorgan as well as $350 million in two separate term loans arranged recently for Bumi Resources, Basis Point said. Barclays declined to comment, while JPMorgan and Bumi were not immediately reachable. The total $750 million from the bridge and term-loan facilities are more than sufficient to repay the $600 million due October 2013 tranche of the $1.9 billion debt issued to CIC in September 2009, Basis Point said. The CIC debt pays a cash coupon of 12 percent annually and an additional amount on maturity, taking total annual returns on CIC's investment to 19 percent, it said.
